To use Pebble as a puzzle toy, simply insert the included Blocker attachment. Treats will need to travel through two different chambers and navigate dead ends and narrow passages to be released, meaning that your dog needs to paw, nose, and roll Pebble around to get their food!

To use the Pebble only as a slow feeder toy, simply remove the Blocker and serve it to your dogs.

Pebble was designed to work with a variety of foods. 

When used as-is without the Blocker, Pebble is great as a slow feeder for kibble, raw, wet, or other fresh foods. 

Pebble can also be used for frozen treats, like milk, broth, treat blends, etc. The ridged surface on the underside of Pebble also allows for smearing of paste, like nut butters, purees, and yogurt. 

Pebble can be frozen for additional difficulty to extend eating time further. 

When used with the Blocker insert, Pebble transforms into a treat dispenser for kibble and other dry treats, such as freeze-dried or dehydrated dog treats. Please do not use the Blocker with wet food.

Pebble can hold around 120ml (~4.1oz) of liquid when filled to the max fill line. It can hold slightly more wet food.

It is not recommended to fill Pebble over the max fill line if you're freezing it, as your food might expand slightly during the freezing process depending on the amount of liquid it contains.

Yes, Pebble is freezer-safe! When freezing liquids like broth, milk, or Trove Blend, it is not recommended to fill Pebble over the max fill line, as liquids expand when frozen and may pop open the Pebble.

Pebble currently comes in one universal size, measuring around 10.5 cm x 6 cm. Pebble has been tested with dogs of various sizes (from toy to large breeds).

Pebble is made of a unique blend of ultra-tough, non-toxic, pet-safe material.

The body of Pebble is made with BPA-free, phthalates-free, 100% recyclable and non-toxic TPE. The Blocker attachment is made from food-grade polypropylene.

Do note that while Pebble is durable, no dog toy is indestructible. Please supervise your dog and prevent your dog from destroying or shredding the Blocker attachment.

Pebble was designed to be a tight fit to prevent dogs from being able to open it.

To open Pebble, hold the top half and use your thumbs to push down on the taller fins. Once split, pull both sides of Pebble apart.

Here are some tips if you would like to make it easier to open Pebble: 

1. Use the pad of your thumb (instead of the tip of your thumb) to exert greater force, and rotate and repeat until pebble is split
2. When popping open a Pebble that has a Blocker inserted, you can push directly on the Pebble blocker (instead of only through the opening)
3. Once Pebble is slightly split, it's easier to hold both sides and pull it apart instead of continuing to push on the fins
4. You can add some water around the edges to make opening and closing easier
